A facial is a skincare treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, and nourishes the skin to promote a clear, well-hydrated complexion and can help your skin look younger.

Facials help to deep-cleanse your skin, remove impurities, hydrate, and improve overall skin tone and texture. They can also address specific concerns like acne, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation.

It’s recommended to get a facial every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your skin type and concerns, as this is the natural turnover cycle for your skin cells.

Yes, many facials are specifically designed for sensitive skin. Your esthetician will customize the treatment to ensure it suits your skin’s needs.

HydraFacials FAQ

A HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection to improve skin tone, texture, and overall appearance.

Unlike traditional facials, the HydraFacial uses a unique device that gently exfoliates the skin while simultaneously hydrating and infusing it with serums, offering a deeper cleanse and more immediate results.

HydraFacials are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, as the treatment is fully customizable to your skin’s needs.

A HydraFacial typically takes about 30 to 45 minutes, making it a convenient option for people with busy schedules.

HydraFacials are generally safe with minimal side effects. You may experience slight redness immediately after the treatment, but this should subside quickly.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to get a HydraFacial once a month, but your esthetician can help determine the best frequency based on your skin’s needs.

Chemical Peels FAQ

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing treatment that uses a solution to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, revealing smoother, clearer, and more even-toned skin underneath.

Chemical peels are effective in treating fine lines, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, uneven texture, and improving overall skin tone.

Most chemical peels cause a mild tingling or stinging sensation during the application, but this is typically brief. Deeper peels may cause more discomfort, but your provider will discuss this with you before treatment.

Downtime varies depending on the strength of the peel. Lighter peels may result in mild redness and flaking for a few days, while deeper peels can require up to a week or more for full recovery.

While noticeable improvements can often be seen after just one peel, a series of treatments may be recommended for more significant results, especially for stubborn skin concerns.

Yes, chemical peels can often be combined with other treatments like facials or laser treatments for enhanced results, but this should be discussed with your provider.
